Morality Crisis, Shadows, Temple Crusher

When: Mon., April 13, 9 p.m. 2015
Price: $5
Issued in an edition of 100 cassettes, Morality Crisis’ March EP, Surrounded by Dweebs, stretches two songs to 11 minutes. The self-described “shitrock trio” from Minnesota does a lot in that brief span. From the patient riffs that open to the scuzzy battery that follows, Morality Crisis balances the deliberation of doom with the twists of post-hardcore. Think Harvey Milk covering Coalesce. —Bryan C. Reed
