Re: “John Rhodes: The guy with nine U.S. Senate votes

You are wrong on several counts. First of all there were three official write in candidates, and basically all three we're "to the right of Tillis". Tillis is only conservative in the mildest sense of the word. Tillis is not only a "statist" but a big government supporter as well. He has flipped on Obamacare a few times, once even stating "it's a good idea" and now he is even supporting more Medicare. Not only has he supported the theft of toll road money by a foreign entity, he has been against the lowering of the gas tax (we have the highest gas tax of any of our neighbors in the South). He was however in favor of giving away tax breaks to Hollywood Corporate interests.

The idea that John Rhodes only got 9 votes is a fallacy. I have talked to my local county Board of Elections and basically they have until next Friday (the 14th) to finalize their vote totals. They have counted the marks for write ins but not tallied who they are for.
