Re: “The scariest cat at the SPCA?

That's one of the most beautiful things I've ever read and I agree with you. I think that cats are here soo little time because they are soo full of love, forgiveness and compassion that 20 years of them gives us amateur humans a life times worth of beauty. I just moved from California to Massachusetts, but it really broke my heart to hear this. I think the kind of people who do this shouldn't be allowed to have pets or they should settle for stuffed animals because they are to cold or numb to take in the perfect relationship of love into their little hearts. Their loss, Butterscotch is a miracle cat, a lot of cats don't even make it that long and if I were the owner I'd be so grateful to have 15 years. Is Butterscotch okay?My cat is 12 and I hope I get him for 18-20. I recently had one die of kidney failure at 14-15. It still tears up my family to remember. I know we're all different individuals, but I think if thats the kind of person you are, abandoning your cat because he's older than DON'T get a pet, just don't, because you don't deserve it if you don't understand what that means.
