Maroon 5, Kelly Clarkson, PJ Morton, Rozzi Crane, Tony Lucca

When: Tue., Sept. 10, 7 p.m. 2013
Since Maroon 5 established itself in 2002 as a notable but modest pop-rock force with Songs About Jane—which contains the band's best, though not biggest, singles. Since then, Adam Levine and company have gone off the pop deep end by following up the smash success of the mind-numbingly simple "Moves Like Jagger" with last year's Overexposed—even ceding room on the lead single, "Payphone," for Wiz Khalifa to spit an incongruous verse. Maroon 5's show plays out like a string of career-spanning singles that may well include Levine's cameo with Gym Class Heroes or perhaps hits by Prince and Daft Punk. —Spencer Griffith
