Colin Firth stars in this Durham-set drama about a Texas businessman who wants to store some odd cargo in a tobacco warehouse. The inert, listless film follows the unexciting times of several Durham residents, including a faded flower of the Old South (Ellen Burstyn) and a young cop (Orlando Bloom) who studies law at night and is trying to win back his girlfriend (Amber Tamblyn). Also in range of the camera are Patricia Clarkson (to no discernable end) and Isiah Whitlock Jr. as the city's mayor. This film is for Durham residents and diehard fans of Firth and Bloom only.
