Magic Tree House Live Reading Tour

When: Wed., March 30, 7 p.m. 2011

According to legend, a young woman walked miles before the crack of dawn through the Australian bush with her infant son strapped in his Baby Bjorn just to attend a Harry Potter book launch. Sounds nutty to some, but to die-hard book fans, it's completely thrilling to be a part of something special involving the heroic characters in your favorite books.

This national book tour is based on Mary Pope Osborne's internationally beloved and bestselling Magic Tree House. Jack and Annie, a brother-and-sister team of international time travelers, will be rolling into town on their Magic Tree House-decorated bus for a performance that will encourage audience participation. You'll need a ticket to attend the 7 p.m. event; they're free with the purchase of any Magic Tree House book at the Regulator. —Christina Cass
