STEPHENSON AMPHITHEATRE AT RALEIGH LITTLE THEATRE—Ultimately, what wouldn't you do for your family? That's the question director Rebecca Blum poses through the Bard's famous drama, giving the ill-starred Thane of Cawdor and his bloodied bride a teenage son (Bevan Therien) in this adaptation. Slowly seduced by his increasing power—and the enigmatic counsel of the Weyard Sisters—Macbeth and his wife think what they're doing is for the good of their own. But what effects will such corruption ultimately have on the family itself? In this co-production from Bare Theatre and Raleigh Little Theatre, a cast of 30 includes Wade Newhouse as the Mac and Benji Taylor Jones as his Lady. 8 p.m. Thurs.–Sat., $17, 301 Pogue St., Raleigh, 919-821-3111, —Byron Woods
