Loners | Motorco Music Hall | Clubs & Concerts | Indy Week
This is a past event.
When: Thu., Dec. 2, 9 p.m. 2010
Price: Free

In September, Chris Tamplin left his longtime job booking bands and bartending at the downtown Raleigh Irish pub Tir na nOg; he headed to Durham to run Motorco, the new venue he'd built with three other investors. It looks like he's trying to bring his legacy with him: Back in Raleigh, Tamplin built the popular Local Beer, Local Band series, which coupled brew specials with free shows featuring top-notch area talent. Tonight, one of Tir na nOg's staple acts, the garage-rock brash brothers called The Loners, play for free at 9 p.m. —Grayson Currin
