Local Band, Local Beer: Zack Mexico, Wild Fur, E.T. Anderson

When: Thu., Nov. 12, 9:30 p.m. 2015
In little more than a week, Tir Na Nog will end its two-decade run along Moore Square, yielding the space for a mixed-use concept from the owners of Bida Manda. Before Local Band Local Beer moves down the street to The Pour House, the old stage will be put to use for what should be a wild one. Zack Mexico gets loose inside its tight songs, which weld touches of surf, psych and noise to post-punk frames. Wild Fur, meanwhile, is cool and collected, adding sugary soul touches to smart pop tunes. Also E.T. Anderson. —Grayson Haver Currin
