Local Band, Local Beer: The Color Exchange, I Was Totally Destroying It, Young Cardinals

When: Thu., Nov. 5, 9:30 p.m. 2015
Price: free
The similarities between The Color Exchange and some of Britain’s biggest post-millennial pop-rock exports are clear. The quartet’s pleasant if indistinct melodies compare favorably to those of Keane, Coldplay or post-Pop U2, a hand-me-down style The Color Exchange wears well. This Local Band Local Beer showcase also features the power pop of I Was Totally Destroying It and the arena-aspiring Young Cardinals. (The Color Exchange also headlines Cat’s Cradle’s Back Room on Saturday.) —Patrick Wall
