Lincoln Durham

When: Tue., Oct. 27, 9 p.m. 2015
Price: $10
When it comes to country and blues, there’s much handwringing over authenticity. Throw out such concerns with Lincoln Durham. His raw and rambunctious style cribs ideas from many sources, but it seems, without question, authentically Lincoln Durham. His one-man-band concerts find him pounding a ragtag assembly of drums and wrenching riffs from guitars and other stringed “instruments.” His wisdom suggests Townes Van Zandt. His blunt-force blues evokes The White Stripes. The sounds aren’t new, but Durham has enough verve to make originality seem like a canard. —Jordan Lawrence
