Life in Color

When: Sat., Sept. 26, 6 p.m. 2015
Price: $30-$75
The Life In Color Paint Party is a Deep South hippy-dippy rave tradition that began in Florida in the mid-2000s as Dayglow. The show combines big, loud beats with a circus-like atmosphere and hoses that shoot non-toxic paint at everybody. Think Cirque Du Soleil minus the pretense but with a lot more molly. This one features music from DVBBS, Bot Nek and Ghastly. Following this pulse-heavy paint party, consider two after parties. At the Lincoln Theatre, there’s Djelle and Bad Catholics ($15–$20) while at Southland Ballroom, there’s DJ Animal, DJ Phatrabbit, High Society and a three-way DJ battle between Mastaflex, Mojot and Shy Guy. —Brandon Soderberg
