Leo Kottke

When: Fri., Oct. 28, 8 p.m. 2016
Price: $36
You’d need another set of hands to even get close to what Leo Kottke does with a guitar. Although his debut, 1969’s 12 String Blues, is highly regarded, 6 and 12 String Guitar, also known as the armadillo album, released later that same year, caused countless would-be guitar gods to hurl themselves against the wall in frustration. Kottke’s twelve-string slide solo on 1974’s “Pamela Brown” finished off the survivors. —Grant Britt
