Re: “Public meeting is the last on disease lab

I will make sure to read the previous stories, then. I agree that this may be a valid justification for some omitted facts. However, I am unsure that some of the bias specific to the article is helpful to any reader.

Re: “Public meeting is the last on disease lab

First, I'd like to say that I consider myself to be independent, which is why I picked up this magazine. I'm registered independent and I never make a decision solely based around someone else's word. Which is why I found it very difficult to read this article. This is not because I have a strong opinion for or against either side, yet. And this is primarily due to the highly biased notions of this article that made it almost impossible for me to think about the subject in a fair or rational manner. The only purpose of this article was to mindlessly guide an ignorant reader towards a single view. I'll form my own f***ing opinions, thank you! My favorite part though, is when the writer exposes the trouble they have had in biasing this article by actually contradicting their own logic. That is, where the writer discredits the notion that there would be growth in the surrounding academic community since it is not guaranteed; and so, it apparently should not be considered when weighing the pros and cons. But isn't this whole article based around taking an outbreak that is defined as "extremely low" probability and referring to it as something more like "certainty"?
