LACK | Nightlight | Clubs & Concerts | Indy Week
This is a past event.

When: Sat., Oct. 24, 10 p.m. 2015
The electronic label Tone Log has one release to its name, Sagan Youth’s great and dazed 2013 album, Annotated Universe. This release show rings in the label’s second offering, Atemporal, a stark new record from Sagan Youth’s Philip Maier as LACK. Since 2011, Maier has put out several shivering releases, mining the fringes of ambient, techno and dub for inspiration. Recent single “Escutcheon” matches mutant percussion with desolate electrical-hum drones. The dark psychic effect that sets in on you is palpable. Come early for performances from Misha and Secret Boyfriend, plus DJ sets from Spongebath and JC Slaw. —David Ford Smith
