Keith Urban, Little Big Town, Dustin Lynch

When: Fri., July 26, 7 p.m. 2013
Given that Nashville's mainstream machinery long ago abandoned any pretense of traditionalism for Rascal Flattsam and jetsam, it's fitting that the format's most worthwhile act today is from the other side of the planet. Australian Keith Urban plays to the dominant pop side of contemporary country, occasionally showing excellent taste in material (Steve Forbert's "Romeo's Tune") and lending his voice to duet projects by classic American tunesmiths (he contributes to new LPs by John Fogerty and Jimmy Webb). Little Big Town and Dustin Lynch open. —Peter Blackstock
