Re: “Start your drills: Fracking can begin in North Carolina today

Drilling is happening in Chatham County??? Isn't that just south of Cary?
Doesn't anybody want to stop it down there? They should be made aware that they are about to have hundreds of chemicals and radioactive elements pumped into their ground water??

Does anyone know where they are going to be, or are fracking now in NC?

Re: “Start your drills: Fracking can begin in North Carolina today

This uttlerly short sighted poisoning of our earth is crazy! How do we hold the 39 men/women that voted to allow this permanent poisoning of our precious water supply accountable for their choice to allow the companies to drill?? We know the companies are exempt from any liability due to Bush/Cheney making the exemption possible. One of the first things Cheney/Bush did when arriving at the White House was to allow "energy" companies exempt from the Nixon Clean Water Act 1972 (http://www2.epa.gov/laws-regulations/summary-clean-water-act), and free and clear of ANY wrong doing EVEN from letting landowners know what they are doing.
