Re: “UNC Inc.

I just have to add that the fate of the consumer, which most of us are, is quite clear. We are being bombarded from all sides by all kinds of slick psychological trickery in advertisements for our dollars. Where will it end?

Re: “UNC Inc.

I am so glad someone had the courage to write this article. From the days of Doctors who went to your house to treat you, medicine has shifted from being a service to the sick, to serving those who practice the profession. What better image could an institution have than that it serves all of its citizens and not just those who can afford it. The down side to having a business professional run a hospital or institution of higher learning is the gross lack of humanity or human caring, profit comes first. If you are familiar with any of the types of training that these people use to get where they are you know this is true. I have familiarized myself with some of this training. It is going to take a large number of people to fill all those hospital beds they have now created. Fine, let all those who have the money to pay for it fill those beds. We are being denied knowledge about such things as mycotoxins that are carcinogens and are found in grains and food items like mushrooms and get into our food because of poor controls for prevention, so those beds can be filled. One can no longer depend on the medical profession to help one stay healthy, they are too busy trying to retire rich.
