Re: “Elsewhere, Greensboro's art supply fantasyland

I am very familiar with the deteriorative process and its beauty. The ravages of time and misstreatment leave an aesthetic which is nearly impossible to reproduce and its uniqueness is something so thoroughly uncontrived and antibourgeois i love it. Those shop-keeping middle class addicts to 'respectability' and the hum-drum dont know what they're missing. I believe there is a second life in everything if someone has the time, energy and imperitive to make it so. so much remarkable stuff has retired to a rubbish dump unduely, stuff that would now be highly collectable and much loved. Long live the ephemoral!
