Re: “Scott Crawford Refused to Sell Us a Plate of Food at Crawford and Son

That type of behavior makes me want to not eat at his restaurant. All artists, musicians and chefs are reviewed by critics in their area. We may not like the article, or only some or all of it. Regardless, this type of behavior is unwarranted and repulsive.

Re: “Downtown Durham Has More Cars Than It Can Handle

Wow. Did I miss it? Not one mention of trolleys, streetcars or other mass transportation options. Many cities use trollys because of limited parking options. This is not an uncommon problem in trendy areas. Oh wait, there was the shuttle for a special event. Not the same thing. Many times trolleys become a feature in the area which people know to look for and use. Durham has a history of an extensive streetcar line. Perhaps, there is even some cars or tracks left. Let us look at an option to have less cars needed, not how to park more cars.

Re: “Does North Carolina give homeowners associations too much power?

I have owned 4 homes in 3 different states. When i go house hunting i make sure there is not an hoa. They made a choice to live in a neighborhood with an hoa. My advice. Sell. The kids will survive a relocation and they may be able to find a non hoa home in the area.
