Juicy J, Ed E. Ruger, Iconoclast Crew

When: Thu., June 18, 8 p.m. 2015
Price: $28
It’s hard to imagine a more unlikely hip-hop hero than Juicy J. From his mid-’90s horrorcore beginnings as a Three 6 Mafia co-founder to becoming Katy Perry’s proverbial dark horse, the foul-mouthed rapper hasn’t evolved much over time, at least creatively. Even with a Grammy to his name, the Memphis emcee remains lyrically obsessed with two things: drugs and orgasms, primarily his own. But for our turn-up era, he’s a model citizen, an iconic uncle to college kids who can only dream of achieving the colossal highs and busted nuts detailed in the 40-year-old’s raps. —Gary Suarez
