Re: “Duke's Henderson to go pro ... maybe

Jim, I'm not an insider with Nova Fantasy Sports but I had seen the article. Does it talk about the NBA sources like WRAL? Still, I'm wary to count anything as official until it comes from his mouth tomorrow. WRAL reported today he'll announce tomorrow. Thanks for the comment!

Re: “UnPacking

This is my last comment for this section -- I'm not looking to argue over tiny details. Simply put, if the RBC center is not full, meaning not close to capacity for each game, then there is room for improvement considering the location and prominence of the University in the Raleigh area. That's it -- that's all I said. I said nothing of the sort of the arena being at fault, because it is a fine facility. And I said nothing implying that fans should be attending the games more. Obviously a losing team isn't going to attract as many fans as a winning one -- that's how it works. I was simply refuting your argument that State doesn't have an attendance problem based on the sheer magnitude of the fans that come to the games. You failed to take into account the percentage of capacity, which makes that argument flawed. If a low percentage has been associated with this year's games, then it makes since considering State's struggles. If there has been a high percentage this season, then there isn't any issue. I could say that UNC fans are more passionate than Duke fans because more total fans show up at the games -- but Duke has the higher attendance percentage so that argument actually carries no weight. That's all -- you are more than welcome to disagree, but please keep the name calling out of this.

Re: “UnPacking

Nope, Because this large arena is in a large city. Large arenas are less likely to be full in smaller markets. If it were a small arena in a large city it would be more likely to be full because of a smaller supply of sheets. Sheesh. The point is that if State isn't filling an arena it should then there is a problem.

Re: “Tar Heels triumph in Maui

I was a bit surprised that Lawson was named MVP after Hansbrough's performance. I thought the combination of his name and his finals performance would give it to him. Lawson definitely had the better overall performance.
