Re: “Orange and Chatham counties

Wow, those are some harsh comments! I respect the Indy's rationale, and I believe y'all got it right. I'm voting for Cross and Barnes because I have immense respect for their hard work, their willingness to do their homework, and because I trust them. I also respect Starkweather and Kost: Jeffrey is a superlative change-agent. He has rallied the troops when Chatham was in political crisis. He is a warrior. But I feel we need a different approach inside government. Sally could probably do a bang-up job as County Commissioner. Sadly, I cannot support her because of the tactics she and Jeffrey are using. The distortions and deceptions are destructive. The Coalition's membership has crumbled as a result of widespread discomfort with this whole campaign. I'm voting for positive, affirmative, constructive government. That's why I'm voting for Cross and Barnes.
