Joe Bonamassa

When: Sat., Nov. 26, 8 p.m. 2016
Price: $82-$128
You’ve probably seen the billboards around Durham advertising Joe Bonamassa’s stop at DPAC as the guitar event of year. Bonamassa was a child prodigy, proficient enough at 12 to open for B. B. King. Since then, he’s acquired rock god status with a blues-rock sound that blends elements of Cream, ZZ Top and Led Zeppelin. Vocally, he captures Joe Walsh channeling Robert Plant, but can throw in a dose of Ray Charles soul as needed. —Grant Britt
