I'm sorry I didn't mean to post twice! I thought my first one didn't go through. The tone of my second one was milder. I just get frustrated when reports like the "lead in lipstick" are taken as truth because they're scary. This one is a great example of a "sticky story" that stays in the public consciousness but isn't based on good science. I DID mean to post this third one:)

Regarding the lead in lipsticks, please consider the opinion of cosmetics researcher and consumer advocate Paula Begoun: http://www.cosmeticscop.com/dear-paula-makeup.aspx?filter=itemtype%3acontent It appears that that story was alarmist and has been debunked.
