@Jennifer Laws Barker - we may see Christ's love, but that's a facade. Your church and others like it a detrimental to human progress. The church is opposed to homosexuals and has repressive rules regarding women.

I truly believe Christ's love would've extended beyond the restrictions that men wrote in the Bible. The men who wrote the Bible lived in a very different time. We don't need or want those rules. A lot of them don't make any sense anymore. Like slavery.

Calling what the TLC is doing "forest management" is like calling a puppy mill "pure-bred management." It's a euphemism. Clear-cutting is not land conservation and that is the bottom line. The people who donate money to a "conservation" group do so with the belief that the land and trees will be preserved for future generations.

Thank you, Laura Herbst, for shedding light on this highly contorversial issue.
