Re: “Given the dearth of live soul and R&B in the Triangle, are the rooms, bands or fans to blame?

I've found that most people I speak don't even know about these venues, as far as the artist that come to the area I love them all but I'm a music nerd so you try to share music with people yoand you realize that they don't know any of the new/underground/indie artist as many black people that are in this area if you have a Eric Roberson and a R. Kelly show on the same day or a day apart the majority will see Kelly and a dope artist like Roberson who gave a dope show at Motorco will not have many people there same with your hip hop acts put Talib Kweli up against a Gucci Mane, Gucci gonna win even though Kweli will put out a way better show. I feel like we need to figure out a way to get more people to listen to these acts maybe reach out to more local radio stations to get that music played.
