An interdepartmental mini-conference sponsored by the Institute for the Arts & Humanities, with lectures on the book of Isaiah by Dr. Yaakov Ariel, (Associate Director, Carolina Center for Jewish Studies & UNC Professor of Religious Studies), Jason Robert Combs (Ph.D. Candidate, Ancient Mediterranean Religions) & a pre-concert talk by music faculty, composer of Isaiah, Stephen Anderson.
