Re: “Raleigh City Council votes in secret to give Jehovah’s Witnesses $150,000

thank you danny for your insightful comment, however Jehovah's Witnesses also spend the money they have to further free education of the Bible. the Conventions held are free to the public and are open so anyone who desires, can bring their own Bible and follow along with the talks that are totally based on scripture, therefore can get to know their Bible better. these conventions are upbuilding to Jehovah's Witnesses, but also educational for all who come and listen to the scriptures being made easy to understand. Bibles, other liturature and Bible studies are offered free to those who are desirous of greater knowledge of the HOLY BIBLE. there is no catch to attending, no plates past to make people feel they have to donate, what is better for a town government than to have this held in their city, where the place is always kept clean, in fact pre-cleaned for the event and left clean for the next. this is the convention center, the parking lot and where ever the people eat their lunch. we teach our children not to litter, throwing empty containers in garbage or recycling bin when they eat outside. i have never heard any town we have held a convention in complain of the way the convention center was left afterwards. so i hope the people in this place will continue inviting us to come back year after year, knowing they can expect the center to be well taken care of.
