Ira David Wood III's A Christmas Carol

When: Dec. 8-14 2011
Price: $25-80

What do Scrooge and Ira David Wood III have in common? They both make a big comeback in A Christmas Carol. Scrooge is brought back to life in the script, and Wood brings the script back to life. After taking last year off for health reasons, Wood has rejoined the cast of the musical he first adapted from Charles Dickens' ghostly tale almost 40 years ago. His exuberant reunion is sure to inject some unique magic into this Triangle classic. A Christmas Carol plays Memorial Auditorium at 7 p.m. Thursday through Dec. 14 (except Monday), with additional matinee shows at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. —Christina Cass
