Immortal Technique, Killer Mike, Diabolic, Akir, DJ GI Joe

When: Sat., Nov. 5, 9:30 p.m. 2011
Price: $15-18

Do you like aggressively lyrical hip-hop? Do you have strong beliefs about 9/11 being a conspiracy perpetrated by the fascist, colonialist United States government? If so, Immortal Technique is the rapper for you. Touring behind his new album, Martyr, Immortal comes through to lob his Molotov cocktail couplets along with DJ G.I. Joe and the similarly caustic Diabolic and Akir. Most notably, there's opener Killer Mike, an explosive Atlanta rapper who once ran with Outkast's Big Boi but now specializes in political raps that are, paradoxically, both cogent and club-friendly. —Brandon Soderberg
