Chloe Grace Moretz stars as a cellist in a coma after an auto accident. Much of the film follows her "spirit" hovering around and deciding between her old life and whatever lies beyond. Director R.J. Cutler makes some poor choices in presentation and clarity. This may not be the worst YA film of the year, but it's close enough that maybe the genre deserves to rest in peace for a while.
