Homeless for the Holidays

When: Tue., Nov. 30, 7 p.m. 2010
Price: $5

As bad as you might think you have it, somebody else has it a lot worse. ChathamArts and Hidden Voices are focusing on homelessness and domestic violence in this multimedia presentation featuring stories from those who've been there. ChathamArts will screen short films, and nuances of the issue will be expressed via photography and writing. Winston-Salem poet Teri Hairston will read, and comedian Rremida Shkoza will perform a piece based on her experiences. Admission to the 7 p.m. program is $5; canned goods also will be collected for those in need. —Sarah Ewald
