Transactors Improv

Holiday Extravaganza

When: Fri., Dec. 3, 8 p.m. 2010
Price: $7-$14

The Transactors Improv team is back just in time for the holiday season. And they're bringing the gift of a new show. The premise: six people in a bar on Christmas Eve, and each tells the story of why he or she is hanging out at Clem's dive bar instead of doing the Christmas Eve at-home-with-the-family deal. They talk about their pasts, and the stories unfold from there. This being improv, there's no way to know where the narrative will take the audience and performers. But director Greg Hohn does promise some musical stylings. Tickets to the 8 p.m. show are $14 for the general public, $12 for ArtsClub members and $7 for students. —Sarah Ewald
