6th Annual March on Raleigh & People's Assembly, to push a 14-point anti-racist, anti-poverty & anti-war legislative agenda, organized by the NC NAACP & 125+ coalition partners. The HKonJ Coalition marches for voting rights for all, economic justice & equal protection under the law. The NC NAACP & many of the HKonJ coalition partners have also come out strong against Amendment 1, or DOMA, which will be addressed. Gather at 9:30 am at Shaw University, 118 E South St; march to Legislative Building begins at 10:30.
