It seems that Dr. Hunter has a short memory. I beleive if you check back a couple of years you'll find his Department failed to inspect gas chambers because they 'forgot'.

I know at least one county shelter failed repeated annual inspections for being way over the 85 degree maximum. Try in the hundreds easily. What consequence did they suffer?

And dogs standing in their own feces and urine? You're describing many county run shelters I've been in.

I'm not defending the Haven. Only asking the question why is it ok for us to sanction state sponsored killing? And yet condemn someone for at least trying to do the right thing?

I'll listen to what the State has to say when they put up the money for all who want it to spay and neuter. Because until then, there will only be more such facilities.
