Hannibal Buress

When: Sun., Oct. 19, 7 p.m. 2014
Price: $27.14-$37.14

FLETCHER OPERA THEATERHannibal Buress last played the Triangle a year and a half ago, bringing down the house at The Lincoln Theatre. These days, the man has officially made it in the auditorium realm—being co-host on Adult Swim's The Eric Andre Show and a cast member on Comedy Central's Broad City probably helps—as he proves by headlining the much-larger Duke Energy Center this weekend. Even though the venue may be different, expect Buress to sling the same zany, comic riffs in that laidback, stoner-rific tone of his, probably with a DJ to provide music cues. 7 p.m., $27.14–$32.14, 2 E. South St., 919-996-8700, www.dukeenergycenterraleigh.com. —Craig D. Lindsey
