Goodbye Titan, White Cascade, Minor Stars

When: Thu., March 8, 10 p.m. 2012
Price: Free

If Explosions in the Sky had a younger sibling, it would be Goodbye, Titan. They're not quite as developed as their brethren, but they get the job done. They're joined by White Cascade, a band that straddles the line between dream-pop and drone-pop. Minor Stars creates electric blues for the modern-day vinyl obsessive; they open this show, but on Saturday at The Cave in Chapel Hill, they're the headliner, topping a four-band bill that also includes Wicked Tomorrow, Courtesy Tier and Private Pageant. Both shows are free and begin at 10 p.m. —James Hatfield
