Re: “Ronnie Sturdivant's legacy of unrealized plans

LEGACY OF REALISTIC PLANS AND DREAMS: I read your article on Ronnie Sturdivant and to me some of it was inappropriate you ought to be ashamed. This man has lived his live and now is gone on to be with the Lord to rest in peace, why don't you people leave him and his family alone. I think it was really wrong for you to go to his home going services and make comments about the things that his Pastor said that was no harm but, you have taken it and made it sound bad. Ronnie was a strong man in God and maybe had some problems like we all do but he didnt deserve what Durham put him thru. Now the city should be focus on trying to find out why this man would kill someone for nothing. I don't care what happen no one deserves to die this way. The truth need to be found out. You all have put more interest in Ronnies life and what you think he done wrong than you have in finding out why this man wrongly took his life. I would say if you must write focus on justice and trying to get to convict the man that killed him. You said he had unrealistic plans and dreams and that's for you to say but I just want to let you know his dreams were real and they came true. His dream was to let Durham know as blacks you need to have a voice and he did that. He also wanted his family and friends to know no matter what, always trust God and he did that. He was determining that the city or town would never take his building as long as live and he did that. He died owning his building and he did that. He wanted his family to be as one and be together and he did that. He wanted the world to know riches belong to Gods people and God didnt want his people broke because that's what the word of God said and he did that. Read his book. Now with all of this you say his dream was unrealistic NO it wasn't it was REAL and ALIVE. And the best thing is it will live on forever and ever. Durham will never be the same and they will always remember that RONNIE STURDIVANT WAS THERE. So if you must, write, lie, do whatever you have to because it dont matter they did it to Jesus also and his legacy and plans for Gods people live on and so will Ronnies dreams and legacy for his family and friend. HIS DREAM WAS REAL AND REALISTIC BECAUSE HE LIVED HIS LIVE TO THE FULLNESS. I truly believe when god accepted Ronnie he said WELL DONE, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things; ENTER THOU INTO THE JOY OF THY LORD. If you dont understand it by now his dreams was real, he was living his life in order to live with Christ and he is there. HIS DREAM IS REAL AND CAME TRUE. SO PLEASE IF YOU KNOW GOD PRAY FOR THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS AS THEY CONTINUE TO TRUST GOD IN THIS SITUATION AND THAT JUSTICE WILL PREVAIL!
