Georgann Eubanks

When: Wed., Oct. 20, 7 p.m. 2010

Georgann Eubanks' ongoing series of guide books to Tar Heel literary tradition celebrates another installment tonight in Durham. Produced in collaboration with the North Carolina Arts Council, Eubanks' latest book follows on the heels of Literary Trails of the North Carolina Mountains. Eubanks, who works in a variety of educational capacities, including director of the Duke Writers' Workshop, traces the significant literary landmarks of the Piedmont, from Charlotte to the Triad and Triangle areas. Area writers Duncan Murrell and Jaki Shelton Green will join Eubanks for the 7 p.m. reading and discussion, and a catered reception follows. Visit and —David Fellerath
