Gender Outlaws: The Next Generation

When: Sat., Nov. 20, 7 p.m. 2010

It can be hard out there for a trans. But there's a lot of education to be gained. Trans performer and activist Sam Peterson has a new book out titled Gender Outlaws: The Next Generation. He'll read his essay "The Perfect Storm." Also attending is poetry performer Fran Varian, who contributed an essay to the collection and edits Synchronized Chaos, an online magazine devoted to the arts, culture and travel. The free event begins at 7, and Peterson will sign books. —Sarah Ewald
