G Yamazawa, Defacto Thezpian, The Koolest, Rodney Wright

When: Wed., May 13, 9 p.m. 2015
Price: $10
Gangsters don’t die; they get chubby and move to Miami. Poets from Durham, it seems, become rappers and move to Los Angeles. It happened last year to Sacrificial Poet-turned-emcee Kane Smego. Now another Sacrificial Poets alum and promising hip-hop artist, G. Yamazawa, is headed out west for a change. But before he rolls, he’ll put his Bull City legacy to rest in one of the venues where he has delivered deadly rhymes. —Eric Tullis
