Re: “Durham commissioners to weigh tethering ordinance

Wow. I just moved into a house without a fenced in yard and was planning on leaving my dog outside with water on nice days (for up to six hours with shade and sun access). I would have to chain her up to do so, and before reading the comments I couldn't understand what the problem would be. It never occurred to me people would leave an animal in such condition for days let alone years. Wow. I still plan to do this, would someone let me know if they see a problem with this I am overlooking?
