Re: “Carolina Chocolate Drops

This is fresh from my first encounter with CCDrops' performing here (St louie Mo) , I can vouch it ran the gamut from funny to rousing to sardonic, sweetly sly and sassy. One song from a native Ohio 'Dixie' co- composer (do I have that right?)was somehow so moving, that their new disc is a must-get for me.... History teachers, take note! (But as contemporary, rocking and soul-smooth as they could be, they might show tribute to the traditions and yet try out a less diminutive type of band-name - not to be PC per se, just show how top-notch their reach can be....)
