Comedy, Family

Businessman Dan Sanders (Brendan Fraser) has relocated his wife Tammy (Brooke Shields) and son from Chicago to the wilderness where he's overseeing a development. Hijinks ensue, including multiple attempts on the greedy developer's life by cute woodland creatures. Sanders frays at the edges as he tries to survive a wily raccoon and please his maniacal boss, played by Greensboro native Ken Jeong. Though it's mostly for the kids, the movie works hard to throw the parents a bone, and Jeong's performance is a welcome respite from the required animal reaction shots, bodily fluids gags and Fraser's constant mugging. There's a good message buried inside, but it gets lost in the scurrying.
