Re: “Live: A Bland Bryson Tiller Sleepwalks at The Ritz

This is an extremely harsh and badly judged review. You have eliminated almost every single fantastic thing about brysons outstanding rise to success and I think you need to know about the person behind the music before you judge his stage presence or lyrics for that matter. You are trying to make it seem as though Bryson only uses lyrics that he thinks sound 'cool'. Bryson simply sings based off of personal experiences. His lyrics are very relatable and his ideas as a musician and artist are what gain him massive following and large interest. All of his lyrics are about genuine true experiences and if you don't like it or can't relate to the situations that he sings about then it is not his fault.
I also believe that you need to show some respect towards the fact that this is his first tour. It's an opportunity for him to experience something new and learn something new. And the fact that he is so successful that his first tour is a world tour is absolutely amazing. The fact that he had to add two more shows in London because the previous had sold out in under five minutes; the fact that he has gotten recognition from the likes of drake, timbales and others; the fact that every single show on his tour is sold out ;and finally the fact that he has singlehandedly made his own brand and everyone around the world now knows him to be the creator of a fairly new genre of music, trapsoul, ALL needs to be seriously acknowledged ,respected and celebrated.

This is an extremely harsh and badly judged review. You have eliminated almost every single fantastic thing about both Bryson's tour and his outstanding rise to success and I think you need to know about the person behind the music before you judge his stage presence or lyrics for that matter. You are trying to make it seem as though Bryson only uses lyrics that he thinks sound 'cool' or appeal to the young 'teenagers' which you seem to think are the only members of his extraordinarily large fan base. Bryson simply sings based off of personal experiences. His lyrics are very relatable and his ideas as a musician and artist are what gain him massive following and large interest. All of his lyrics are about genuine true experiences and if you don't like it or can't relate to the situations that he sings about then it is not his fault.

The fact that he had to add two more shows in London because the previous had sold out in under five minutes; the fact that he has gotten recognition from the likes of drake, timbaland and others; the fact that every single show on his tour is sold out ;his relatable and unique lyricism ;and finally the fact that he has singlehandedly made his own brand and everyone around the world now thinks of him as one of the creators of a fairly new genre of music, trapsoul, ALL needs to be seriously acknowledged , respected and celebrated.
