Its understandable that Lou is not everyones cup of tea, but he certainly has had some very good work in the past few years. New York, Magic and Loss and Set the Twilight Reeling are fine works and well considered by the well considered. As far as the live show goes.when did you ever see him? Last night he received several standing ovations for an intense intimate performance. Frankly, I was expecting Lou to not live up to my lofty expectations, but he surpassed them. No one can blame somebody for not being into Lou Reed, he is an acquired taste fer sure, but the previous posted seemed to have it all figured out a little to well to be credible.
