Fullsteam Bad Movie Trailer Contest

When: Fri., June 29, 10 p.m. 2012

A trailer for a bad movie can be as good as a good movie. Many are the trailers I've seen on the 42nd Street compilations or at the retro movie screenings in Raleigh and Durham that have made me smile and laugh while being intensely grateful I haven't had to sit through the entire flick. Now you have the opportunity to vote on a favorite bad movie trailer and get drunk while doing it at the inaugural Fullsteam Bad Movie Trailer Contest. The Fullsteam crew has assembled videos of (real) bad movie trailers submitted by contestants, and they'll screen them for an audience that gets to vote on the worst in several categories. Doubtless there will be many monster flicks, along with a proliferation of grindhouse material. You can't go wrong with grindhouse. Find out yourself from 10 p.m. to midnight. —Zack Smith
