Fright at the Museum: A Halloween Party 

When: Sat., Oct. 29, 8-11 p.m. 2011
Price: $30

This Halloween event features a slew of treats, including a performance by contemporary hip-hop dance company Black Irish and music from DJs Jon Yu, Yes! Sputnik, Discovery's Nixxed and Hidden Cat. Local artists will display graffiti art, horror films, video art projections and an art installation by Pipe frontman Ron Liberti. There will also be a fire and aerial performance from Phoenix Rising productions. Costumes are encouraged, both for the photo booth and the costume contest, which includes five categories (among them "Wicked Funny" and "Least Likely to Take Home to Mom"). —Meg Stein
