Re: “Aqua North Carolina found a legal way to raise its rates—at customers' expense

I have just moved into a neighborhood that uses Aqua America exclusively. I have no choice. I just got my first full months bill and have now realized I will be charged at least a $65 sewer fee each month! I have no idea what a sewer fee entails, but a family of 4 or 5 in this neighborhood pays $75. How is is that mine is $65? A single woman who is hardly ever home due to my work schedule. My water usage has not changed, it is normally around $30. So now just because I moved and have to use them I am paying an additional $65 per month that my property manager did not disclose. Had I been made aware it most definitely would have affected my choice to move here.
